SANUR PARADISE PLAZA HOTEL AND SUITES LAUNCHES “YES, I CARE”
October 14 2004, Sanur, Bali- The Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel and Suites launched its brand new service culture of “ YES, I CARE” in a lively ceremony involving all staff of the hotel. Not just a service standard but a new culture that thrives throughout the hotel, “Yes, I Care” focuses on the voice of the customer in ensuring guest satisfaction.
This new service culture is the exact same standards that are practiced in all Prime Plaza Hotels and Resorts throughout Indonesia. This in turn guarantees our guests the same high level of service, experience and uniformity whenever they stay at any of the Prime Plaza properties. “ This service culture is the key to ensuring our guests have a stay that exceeds their expectations and at the same time causes them to become a strong voice for our hotel, in that they tell others about us”, said Keith Bell, General Manager of the hotel. Prior to the launch, each and every one of the 430 staff and managers in the hotel have gone through 8 hours of extensive training in the service standard and culture of Yes I Care. This was completed over a 6 month period and was also repeated throughout all the other Prime Plaza hotels around Indonesia, demonstrating the value and investment the company has in its strongest resource- its people.
“Yes I Care is founded on the basic principle of listening to our guests and their feedback. There is so much we have and can learn by just listening to the people that choose to stay with us and we are a hotel that acts on this”, said Made Suwenten, Human Resource Manager of the hotel. All staff are trained on how to anticipate, resolve and follow up to guests needs and problems and to ensure the guest leaves the hotel completely satisfied. Empowerment to staff is a key ingredient that makes this service culture successful
The lively afternoon ceremony was launched with all hotel staff making a pledge to practice “Yes, I Care” in their daily job routines and carried on with an awards presentation honouring staff that made a notable contribution to guest satisfaction.
