Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel adopts a Charity Program, February 6,2006
The Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel & Suites Bali has committed to adopt a charity program as a key part of giving back to the community and based on the hotel’s motto “Yes I Care!” The program is called “Bridge of Friendship”. This adopted charity program becomes the hotel’s main charity program for the year 2006.
Kasih Karunia Grace Community Center, a children’s service shelter located at Jl. Raya Kuta No. 382 Kuta, Bali, was chosen as the charity recipient.
The Kasih Karunia Grace Community Center was founded in 1999. This children’s service shelter is lead by Ms. Sepina J. Sinjal as their Service Coordinator.
Currently there are 45 children sheltered. They come from all walks of life where many of them are very talented and bright but unfortunately have to beg on the streets of Bali in order to survive. Prior to joining the shelter only a few of them had an opportunity for a proper education. The shelter’s main role is to teach and instill good values, prevent the children from begging on the streets and to assist them to get an education and to give them an opportunity to learn skills that will help them in adult life.
You can help us and be part of our Children Charity Check Out Program. You are asked to donate Rp.5000 during your stay. It will be added to your room bill automatically. If you decide not to participate, we will rebate it upon checking out.
